It was built on a cliff. Vlad the
Impaler repaired the structure,
making it one of his main
fortresses. The castle was used
for many years after Vlad‘s death
in 1476.

Privileges ended in his chldhood in 1442 when
he was sent to Anatolia as a favor to the Turkish
sultan

He died in this castle situated
near Brasov, Transylvania ,it’s
