We ‘Felt’:

•That the huge ratio of cutting trees will
cause no life one day. The school is
situated near by a small forest called Bani.
Every day when the students come to
school they hear the sound of cutting
trees.

•They felt that they should do something
to stop the cutting of trees. They felt this
is very much important to survive.
We ‘Imagined’:

The students of our school thought that they
should raise the voice against this. Then
they shared this things to us and them we
panned the strategies. Because if there is
no tree on the earth there is no more life
on this beautiful planet. To save our
environment is very much necessary to
aware the people around us. And thus
          they started working on it.
We ‘Did’:
                               • We planned a visit of the village and its
surrounding to mark the places where the
                                   trees are cutting down.
                               • We conducted a rally to spread the
                                   awareness among the community.
                               • We went door to door to convey our
                                   message.

We also presented a role play in
community centre where a big crowd
was formed. Sarpanch of the village
 also appreciated our effort.
Impact on Community:
The impact on the community is too good and
the community planted a board which says ‘Do
not cut the trees it’s an illegal work. Save our
environment by planting more trees .

                                                   •They also promised that henceforth
they will be more aware about it and
                                                   would contribute in keeping their
                                                   surroundings neat and clean.
Impact on Us:

•We realized that our efforts can work
tremendously well we can play a pivotal
role in keeping our village neat, clean and
                                              pollution free.

• Our campaign made us more passionate
towards our duties and responsibilities for
the village.

• By the end of the campaign we found that
we had acquired so many skills which we
wouldn’t have acquire otherwise.
Experience of Community Members & Teachers:
• “By running this campaign students have
generated awareness in community about
the harmful effects of cutting trees .

                                            • “These little champs have taken a step
                                            towards the saving the environment.
                                            Sarpanch Mohanpur

                                            • “We are feeling very proud that our
                                            students moved the community towards
                                            the forestation and eco-friendly
                                            environment." – Teachers of SBS
                                            Mohanpur.
The Road Ahead…..(in the next 3 months)

• While coming to school students will
    look after the forest area.
