1.1     Calculate the discharge rate (Q) through the Venturi meter shown in Figure below with all
        data given and the ideal conditions are exists. Pressure difference between pipe and
        throat is 150 kPa. Ignore the head loss




1.2     A jet of water impact a flat plate with moving at u = 0.5 m/s in the same direction of the jet
        with angle of θ =60 degree. If the radius of the jet is 11 cm and the discharge is 0.1 m 3/s
        calculate the force, and the work done per second on the plate?




1.3     A Big tank of water open to atmospheric connected with pipe which has a constant
        diameter of 100 mm and exit to atmospheric. If the elevation different between point a and
        c = 5m (i.e. za-zc=5.0m), the length of the pipe between a and b (i.e. La-b= 6m) and the
        total length of the pipe is 20m.The friction factor = 0.09
        A) Determine the discharge of the flow
        B) Determine the height of the pipe elevation above the surface of the tank to create
        vacuum pressure of (30 k Pa) below the atmospheric?
