 It’s okay to be curious, using tact
 Be Honest! If unsure ask questions
 Research, research, research
 Become a useful resource, not a salesman

  • 8. How do I become less uncomfortable around people different from me?  You are in charge! Have confidence  Be yourself, you’re the only person qualified  Do not try to change your institution or yourself to fit a specific demographic  It’s okay to be curious, using tact  Be Honest! If unsure ask questions  Research, research, research  Become a useful resource, not a salesman  Find common ground
