LODGE is a project to create a linked open governmental data environment by developing applications using structured, linked open data from various government sources. The goals are to choose appropriate ontologies to represent data, automatically convert existing open data to structured formats, interlink related data sources, and build innovative applications on top of the linked governmental data. The project seeks additional data providers and ideas for new applications to demonstrate the benefits of open, linked government data.
