OPENING SEQUENCE- it begins with a girl (age undecided) waking up
to a crash from downstairs in a room like a kitchen. She slowly gets out
of bed to see what the commotion is. She tiptoes out to the hall, been
drawn in by the noises and she reacts to every crash and shout, she is
very anxious and fidgety. At the top of the stairs we see her looking
towards the light through the banisters of a staircase. There is one last
bang, and immediately the girl realises that she’s in danger and rushes
back to her bedroom. Closing the door behind her and turning off the
lights again, she frantically searches for a place she could hide. She
crawls under her bed, waiting hesitantly for the inevitable. The sound
you hear when she is under the bed is her light breathing and heavy
footsteps ascending up the stairs. We see the door opening and a
silhouette of a male shoes walking in towards the edge of her bed. Cut
to the girl and her reactions of the male presence.

PLOT: two men take hostage two people because they are involved in
heavy drug deals, which they have not been able to pay off their rightful
debts. The hostages are taken to this gang leader, where they are told that
they have 48 hours to get the money together for this gang leader. This film
follows the debtors go on this adventure of finding all these weird and
wacky ways of getting this money.
OPENING TITLE SEQUENCE: It starts with two, rough looking van drivers.
They are wearing beany hats and loose track suits to give a scruffy and
dodgy look. The two drivers finish off a cigarette on the side of a
motorway/busy road and go to shut the boot of a plan white van. The boot
however is not revealed to the audience. The drivers enter the van and try
to start the car however it isn’t working. The driver’s reacts badly to this,
which gives away to the audience a violent and harsh personality, but
eventually gets the car going. It cuts to the journey of the van and
eventually they reach a security barrier with policemen and are shown a
wanted poster. Here is some casual dialogue between the security and the
driver about not recognising the pictures. During this the driver and
passage make suspicious eye contact with each other and look in the rear
view mirror obviously. The audience still had no idea about what is in the
back of the van. The van passes through the security check and arrives at
their destination, warehouse, or abandoned building site (somewhere dark
but socially realistic). They park up outside and opening the boot, here you
find 2 young male hostages inside.

routine. Firstly waking up in an extremely tidy room where everything is perfect, pills
on his bedside table perfectly lined up and books on the shelf are in alphabetical
order. We then see the man eating his breakfast at the kitchen table, checking that
each cut of his crusts is symmetrical. The camera cuts to the man counting his
money. Cuts to him putting his house alarms on, and having to click the lights on and
off 10 times before entering or leaving a room. The camera cuts again to him walking

abnormally. The character always has on him a secret book that is later revealed to
the audience. When he flicks through the pages, we see pictures of a beautiful dead
