11. Borneo Expedition 2015
• One month expedition to Borneo (all inclusive).
• Chance to help others by working on a range of projects,
helping to improve the lives for rural people.
• Opportunity to take part in a forest regeneration project to
protect wildlife and the environment on the island.
• A visit to the Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary
• Chance to complete the PADI Open Water Diving Course
• Opportunity to gain 70 UCAS points on completion of the
expedition which will contribute to University applications.

The Russell group of 20 leading Universities such as Bristol, Durham,
Exeter, Cardiff, Manchester, Nottingham & Oxford have produced a list
of ‘facilitating subjects’ which are preferred. The A-Level subjects are:

Maths
This does not mean to say that you should only choose these. However,
these subjects should feature heavily in your choices at A-Level if you
want to attend a top university.
