History Trip to Berlin May 11th  – 13th, 2011

Daily Activities Day 1 - Wednesday Arrival in Berlin Guided Bike Tour of Berlin Check-Point Charlie Berlin Wall Hitler Bunker Brandenburg Gate Soviet War Memorial Reichstag Bebelplatz Dinner at a Brewery A Wii Lounge
Day 2 – Thursday Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Shopping & Free Time East Berlin DDR Museum Dinner out & Sony Centre Reichstag by Night
Day 3 – Friday Story of Berlin Museum Lunch at Hard Rock Cafe  Afternoon Suggestions??
Trip Rules The most important rules... No drunkenness! Always be on time at meeting points. No sneaking out at night! Say “please” and “thank you”.
The Student Contract Each student must read & sign this contract. In doing so, they agree to follow the rules. Parents must also read & sign these contracts. Student contracts are due no later than April 15th!
Room Choices Maximum 2 people per room. Boys only and girls only rooms. ... if you’re in a room with someone you don’t know very well – it’s not the end of the world!
The Assignment You will get the assignment details  	during the May-meeting. While in Berlin, you need to be taking  	photos and collecting information (like brochures, pamphlets, etc.) on topics that interest you at each museum. WHY? Because we want everyone to think about the places we are visiting and how this History has affected the 20th century.
Extras Packing List Will be given to you during May-meeting. Questions If you or your parents have any additional questions, send Mr. Cormick or Ms. Humbel an email.
