4. Justification
The Salvadorian Health System is going
through one of the worst financial
crises. There is not enough medical
equipment; neither are there
medications in our national hospitals
which serve most of our elderly, adult,
and child population. We need to
provide new ways of addressing this
situation.

To provide general medical
assistance, gynecology, and mental
health orientation to the Santa Gema
community located in Santiago de María
city.

awareness workshops concerning
hygiene habits, prenatal care, and
mental health.

We want to expand our mission and
become multiplying agents of this
project from the social and human
perspective, focusing on helping the
needy, pulling our resources and
efforts together, and seeking God’s
wisdom.

12. With a strong desire to serve and to
become part of the solution to the
problems mentioned before, we are
now planning this project. We believe
we are following the steps of our Lord
Jesus Christ. He not only offered
spiritual consolation to the multitudes
which came to him, but also was
concerned about their physical illnesses
and struggles.

involve medical students and medical
professionals already active in our
churches.
