When comparing the peer-reviewed research
costs associated with risks and presenteeism costs
to the Healthy Small Business population, the
following savings were shown:

Fewer Smokers:                    $22,336
Reduced Obesity:                  $10,009
Total:                            $32,345
Cost of the Program:              $26,437
   Cost estimated for non grouping employers
    was $160-$540 per employee per year for
    businesses employing 10-72 employees.
   Cost estimated for grouping employers was
    $150 per employee per year.
   Preliminary results show actual costs for
    grouping employers to be $137.62 per
    employee per year.

A Health Promotion Model for Small Businesses – The Healthy Small Business Pilot
