Jerusalem under the rule of Abbasid Caliphate (750 – 969 CE) This article is regarding Jerusalem, one of the oldest cities in the world and its history. The article discusses the reign of the Muslim empire that was taken over by the Abbasids who overthrew the Umayyad dynasty in 750 CE.
