Presentation at Velo-City 2013 Vienna about Dutch indoor bicycle parking solutions in the Netherlands. The shopping area in (historic) city centers is often filled with bicycles, what is a benefit for the shops, but becomes a problem when window shopping isn't possible any more and people stay away because they can't find a proper parking place for their bike any more. Numerous cities invest in free of charge bicycle parking in build facilities. Examples of The Hague, Eindhoven and Tilburg are shown, the case study is about finding new solutions in the historic center of Utrecht. A premium parking concept is being developed.
