Healthy Cooking For A Healthy You: Some Tips
It is essential to have all prep work finished before it's time to begin cooking. When you have
a timeline for your meal to be ready, things can get a bit stressful once you start cooking. Do

There is a way to save your dish and you can use it immediately. In a bowl, combine a
tablespoon of cornstarch with two tablespoons of water. Stir the solution into the simmering

exposed flesh lightly. The next step is to put the rack on an old cookie sheet and then place
in an oven set at 190 degrees for at least 10 hours. Place them in the freezer in plastic bags.
Another way to preserve your dried tomatoes is in olive oil, with herbs for added flavor, in a
glass jar. Tomatoes stored in this fashion will last for two weeks in the refrigerator.
Grilling is not an exact science, but you may have encountered some confusion the last time
you hit the barbecue. The best way to cook meat consistently is to invest in a digital meat
thermometer that gives accurate readings of the temperature inside the meat. If you have
thick meat, more than a inch and a half, close the grill to make cooking time shorter.
If you are cooking a roast and are short on time, make sure to leave the bone in. The meat
cooks faster because the bone will carry the heat through the inside of the roast, helping it
cook from the inside out. Cut the meat around the bone before serving it.
Avoid cooking foods in excessive oil when you are trying to become healthier or drop a few
