  Heather Sluyk

• For this project I decided to use various sewing projects I created for
  two of my apparel classes. I chose a basic skirt, straight trousers, a fitted,
  sleeveless dress and a dress drape with alterations to the plaid as my
  examples.

• These four pieces demonstrate my sewing skills with creating a garment
  as a whole as well as, inserting different closures, finishing, hems, collar,
• Fitted mini-skirt

• Invisible zipper

• Straight waistband

• Twice turned hem
