2. DID YOU FILL THE CRITERIA ?
The criteria consists off having a match on action, reverse shot and obey the 180 degree rule.
I believed we managed to accomplish this aim. We included the match on action when the
protagonist opens the door that leads into the corridor. We found this very hard to achieve as
the protagonist comes out of shot very quick after leaving the door. Lastly we found it hard to
accomplish the task of reverse shot as we did not want to breach the 180 degree rule.
3. WHAT DID YOU LEARN IN PLANNING PROCESS?
During the planning process as a group we had difficulties with our organisation skills. With
our group having different free periods we found it hard to film during the day. Moreover we
found it hard to include the criteria into our ideas. Our group was creative when It came to
ideas but we found it hard to come to conclusion into what we wanted. It was hard to define a
location , the costumes , the actors, the shots and the angles. We finally came to the
conclusion on what we want to do and eventually filmed on the last day. From this we have
learned from our mistakes and we will more comfortable when we are assigned a new task.
4. WHAT DID YOU LEARN IN THE FILMING
PROCESS ?
While filming me and my group both learned to be patient while filming creating a shot. By
doing this we can prevent having a bad shot and can get a better grade. Us as a group
learned that It was difficult to get a good angle to make the task look more professional. Our
biggest challenge was defiantly continuity as we filmed to different days and at various times
in the day. This made it hard to make the film look like its flowing naturally. From this we
learned to get it all done in one day so it was a lot easier.
