2. Website Idea Generation
• I have decided as my fourth campaign product to make a website, I decided to make this
because I think this would be a successful way of getting my charity and campaign out there
more. As you can see on the next slides I have looked at existing charities who campaign
about similar issues as my charity does. I have looked at websites from charities such as
Greenpeace, WWF and Rainforest Rescue.
3. From this website I have taken the idea of having a banner and I plan to use this on my own
website design, I think this will be a good idea because it will make my website more interactive
and appealing to my audience.
I also like the idea of having a latest updates paragraph as this will be informative for my
audience and would hopefully encourage them to check up on the website more therefore
increasing website traffic and promoting my charity and campaigns more.
4. I liked the idea of having a ‘Donate today’ and the ‘get involved’ tab. I think this will make it
easy for my audience to donate and if they want too, hopefully it will also encourage the
audience to donate because its quite in their face.
I think I will also use the idea of having a search tool on my website so that is easy for my
audience to navigate throughout my site, this will encourage them to check back more if it is
easy to use.
5. I also like the idea of having a contact us page. I think this will make my website and charity
more accessible which is the main purpose of having the website, it would also act as a way
for people to contact the charity if they have any queries or suggestions- this would be
useful and could help my charity and campaign progress, by working in feedback from the
audience.
