Why Is This Important?
Welcome to the Project Learning Institute
Imagine that you are going away for a weeklong holiday. To
prepare for the trip, you make a list of the things you need to

As a participant in the Project Learning Institute, you will
need to start by acquainting yourself with the Institute’s

considerations.

Institute Components
Welcome to the Project Learning Institute
The Institute is organized into three learning components:
• Virtual Training: This 6-week online training period will
provide a baseline understanding of 21st century skills and
project learning, and will enable you to start developing a
learning project that you will facilitate with your students
after the course.
• In-Class Training: This is the opportunity for you to meet
your peers face-to-face for four days and continue
developing your learning project for implementation in
your school.
• Implementation: Back at your school, you will conduct
your learning project with your students, supported by
your peers and the Oracle Education Foundation staff.
