Entrepreneur creation & development. One method of selecting these
„right‟ candidates is through the use of Entrepreneur Profiling Tools.
Unlike regular profiling tools or systems, EnSight: Entrepreneur
Profiling Index is an assessment of the Entrepreneurial traits in
an individual.
EnSight was developed in collaboration with a renowned academician
from Malaysian National University (UKM), based on studies and
surveys of local entrepreneurs and supported by published studies on
entrepreneurship and profiling methodologies.
EnSight when used with supporting methodology such as face-to-face

13. Idea Development Process starts with Idea Generation stage. This is
where several methodologies are applied to encourage participants to
think creatively in coming up with business ideas which conform to a

INTERNET ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM (IEP)
INTRODUCTION
The Internet Entrepreneurship Program (IEP) started out as
a Program to fulfill and identified the need of rural business
communities to market and sell their products and services
online while making full use of the Internet infrastructure
available in their areas (Tele-centers).
It has since expanded into a Program for all Bumiputra
individuals and small businesses.
This Program has been implemented in Terengganu,
Sarawak, Kuala Lumpur, Kelantan, Kedah and Johor since
July 2009 and to-date, a total of 163 online presence were
created.
OBJECTIVES
• To facilitate business owners to create online presence and
start marketing their products and services online;
• To impart necessary skills and tools to participants in
familiarising them with online marketing;
• Where applicable, to increase the usage of Tele-centers in a
community as the access and economic focal point for that
community.

BIOTECHNOLOGY ENTREPRENEURSHIP SPECIAL
TRAINING (BeST) PROGRAMME
INNOVASIA in a collaboration with MARDITECH, has been
managing the BeST Programme since 2007 and the
partnership has been formalised and is known as
MARDITECH LEARNING CENTRE.
INTRODUCTION
BeST is a 6-month intensive and structured retooling
Programme, fully funded by Malaysian Biotechnology
Corporation (BiotechCorp), for Graduates from all disciplines
wishing to enter the Biotechnology Industry and other
related industries in general.
Combining 3 months classroom-based learning and
laboratory work with an additional 3 months industry
internship, the Programme is aimed at equipping the
Graduates with essential skills and knowledge for every-level
positions within Biotechnology Companies or Biotechnology-
related Companies.
OBJECTIVES
The Programme‟s objectives are to:-
• Enhance the knowledge and skills of all Graduates in
Communication (Language & Business), Technical and
Entrepreneurship areas;
• Match the knowledge and skills of Graduates with the
competencies required by the Biotechnology Industry;
• Give unemployed Graduates relevant “real world” skills as
well as industry experience and exposure.
