NetApp hosted a Big Data breakfast event to discuss how big data is driving new demands for scale in data management. The presentation covered why big data has become a major buzz topic, what big data is, and how data is entering a new era requiring massive scale. It also provided examples of how NetApp solutions have helped customers meet the performance and scalability requirements of big data workloads, including one customer that exceeded service level agreements after moving from direct attached storage to NetApp storage.
