9. 9/11 Tribute Campaign
Millions of Americans will be invited to participate in the
single largest day of charitable service in U.S. history in
observance of 9/11
– Individuals and groups will be asked to post online
pledges to dedicate time on 9/11 to good deeds
– Our website and Facebook pages will gather tributes,
creating a unique “digital quilt”
– Tribute Cards will be handed out to individuals through
NFL, select sports venues from 8/30 to 9/11

14. Remembrance Tips
Discuss why the 9/11 community supports the idea of
Sept. 11 being observed as a day of service and
remembrance
Consider dedicating your “tribute project” to a 9/11 victim
or victims by name, or to a group you wish to honor
(firefighters, military, etc.)
– Hand out a Tribute Card about the person(s) you have
chosen to honor this year (change each year)
– Visit NY Times “Portraits in Grief” for bios on those lost
