2. Myself & my goals. Graduate High School with at least decent grades Go to Bloomsburg University Get my B.S.N. Become a R.N.
3. Nursing As I’ve already said I would love to be a R.N. I decided that’s what I wanted to do about two years ago. After I was in the hospital for my appendix and my gram for her hips I was sure being a R.N. was what I wanted to do.
4. Education After I graduate high school I want to go to Bloomsburg University. I intend to take a four year course and get my B.S.N. (bachelor's of science degree). I will then continue to become a R.N. (registered nurse).
5. College Choices I have planned on going to Bloomsburg University for awhile but over summer I went to AZ. I looked around at the Arizona State College campus and would like to go there as well if its possible.
6. Experience Needed 4 years of college at Bloom U. Clinical experience NCLEX-RN exam.
7. Growth The need for R.N.s is expected to grow greatly from now until 2012. Mainly because older nurses need to be replaced. It’s said that there will always be a need for nurses.
8. Salary In 2002 nurses earned an average salary of $48,090
9. Challenge of Being an R.N. Being an R.N. does have some challenges. Besides being on your feet most of the day, the hours are not always normal and are sometimes long. You also have to deal with the fact that not all patients are going to get better.
