The document describes a proposed educational game designed to teach Welsh language skills to young boys aged 6-10. I remembered these lessons mostly because the way I was taught was mostly through the bellowing of key words in Games, Songs and just general learning created by the teachers to entertain and help me learn that much quicker. Learning Layout For the whole of my education, secondary and primary, in actual lessons I have always remembered French, German, and Welsh out of all my subjects they just seemed to sink in best perhaps of its teaching methods having the greatest affect on my learning capability.

14. Stage 1 - Reading Ble mae’r melyn? Where is yellow? Balwen asks the user/s “Ble mae’r melyn?” this will appear on screen with an English translation. A voiceover will ask the question in welsh. The user must then respond to the question by clicking on the apropriate colour.

15. Ble mae’r ceiliog? Unlike the last stage this is a little bit harder, no english transltion is given this time however, a sound clip is attached to the quesiton so the user/s have to listen inorder for them to relate the picture of the animal to the word. Stage 2 - Listening

16. Stage 3 - Speaking Final round based in the Millennium Stadium, the user must repeat the word said into the micro phone. Voice recognition software will recognize the said word. Balwen will pronounce the word so the user has a clue of how it will sound. To listen to the word again simply hover over Balwen in the game.

17. Further Interaction The game can be expanded into a 2 Player game. The aim of the game is the fastest player 1 st to answer the question. Each user is represented by the two characters and it’s a fight to the death!

18. Behaviorism Behaviorism is a theory of animal and human learning that only focuses on objectively observable behaviors and discounts mental activities. Behavior theorists define learning as nothing more than the acquisition of new behavior. Method 1 . • Break the dialogue to simpler parts. • For each part, learner imitates modeled phrases. • Repeat sentences until pronunciation and syntax correct. • When each sub section is perfected, perform whole dialogue.

19. We will use the stereotypical sounds that fall into the category of Kung fu. Sounds strongly relate to behaviorism as they draw the attention of the user easily and again follows the rule of listening.
