  1. WELCOME!!! We’re pretty JAZZED about this summit and DELIGHTED to have you here. Intro self -- most of you know me -- personally or as Cdcowen@aol.com. I’m also the ED of Carroll’s Center for Innovative Education. My Summit role has been to do the planning to get us all here and -- during the next four days -- to gently facilitate things. My first task is to tee us up: ---To quickly review WHY we’re here and HOW we got here. Then -- pulling from the profiles you all wrote -- to summarize WHO we are, WHAT we know, and WHAT we do. (We’ll save individual. Introductions for the end of our two breaks.) Why start with WHY, HOW, WHO, WHAT, WHAT???? It’s a good to know your PURPOSE, PAST and ASSETS before embarking on an expedition. I’ll also review The Summit agenda -- our road map . Then, I’ll close with a few provocative questions and turn us over to Steve Wilkins. √
