After reading the book, we will be talking about how each and every one of you are special and unique. Then in relation to the winter theme in the book, we will be making snowflakes, and will compare how each of your snowflakes are different from one another. I will then post them on the bulletin board. Lastly, you will also have the chance to play some winter interactive games online.

They will also have the opportunity to read the book over PowerPoint and will be able to browse an interactive game site about winter. After reading the book, the children will each cut out their own snowflake, and we will discuss how each of their snowflakes is unique and special just like them.
