14. Summary ‘ Social Media’ is now a massive part of many peoples lives. Constant advancements in media and the way we use it has now seen us as consumers become more and more involved with it. Ultimately ‘Social Media’ seems to connect and bring together people through many of the different mediums we have looked at in this presentation. Whether its sending a friend or loved one a ‘virtual gift’ on Facebook, offering a comment or feedback on somebody’s blog you have read or contributing information to an article on ‘Wikipedia’ that could eventually help somebody in the world learning about that subject, all that we do with social media either helps or brings us as consumers together through common interests, beliefs or goals.
