OCEAN LINERS AND MERCHANT VESSELS
While the romance of an ocean voyage has long passed, enthusiasts still have a love affair with the famous
ocean liners that crowded shipping ports around the World in the 30 years immediately following the Second
World War. Migration was at its peak over this period and the vessels returning to their home ports became an
affordable means of travel for tourists and young adventure seekers alike. If only for a few days and nights or
on a month-long voyage, these “floating palaces” provided a temporary escape from reality and life-long
friendships were often forged amongst passengers and crew alike.

20CM PRESENTATION SHIP MODELS
In completing larger scaled models, GTrans develops a hull mould for a smaller more affordable product of the
same vessel. All superstructure components are separately hand carved and the product is totally hand-painted
to exact livery. These models are 20cm in length and mounted on a single polished mahogany plinth with an
engraved nameplate and housed in a high-quality presentation box. Ideal for personal or corporate gifts and
you‟ll be amazed at the level of detail for something so small!

Production

• Detailed product development using original plans/arrangements, photographs and other graphic imagery to
achieve precise scaling, livery and badging

DELIVERY, PACKAGING, FREIGHT & INSURANCE
Delivery Times

Delivery is determined by production scheduling and will be discussed with the client at the time of ordering.
As a rule-of-thumb, the following can be used as a guide:

• In-stock Inventory: 2-3 weeks (average 2 weeks)
• Larger Detailed Vessels: 3-4 months (average 3 months)
• Small Resin vessels: 3-6 weeks (average 3.5 weeks)
• Aircraft Models: 3-6 weeks (average 4 weeks)
• Other: as discussed

Packaging

• Strong custom built wooden packaging for larger vessels
• Strong cardboard presentation boxes for smaller resin-moulded vessels
• High-density foam and strong cardboard boxes for all aircraft models
• Other models are freighted in cardboard or wooden packaging depending on size and fragility

Freight and Insurance

A number of freight options are available and will be charged „at cost‟ and added to the GTrans invoice

Returns Policy
In the unlikely event that products are damaged in transit, GTrans will replace the model upon receipt of the
returned article.

PRICING POLICY & PAYMENT TERMS
 All prices are quoted in Australian (AUD) or United States (USD) dollars.

 A daily exchange rate is used for conversion to other currencies using Oanda Foreign Exchange Currency
Converter at www.oanda.com . For Australian domestic sales, all prices include the
mandatory 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST). Overseas sales are GST free.

 For importers, wholesalers and retailers, minimum orders and payment terms can be negotiated at the
time of ordering, however, generally payment terms for individual clients are as follows:
Large custom built model ships:
30% at time of commissioning,
50% on receipt and acceptance of final photographs and
20% on delivery
All other custom-built models:
50% at time of commissioning; and
50% on receipt and acceptance of final photos prior to shipment
In-stock inventory: 100% at time of order

 We accept payment by Mastercard or Visa (for which there is a 1.8% Credit Card fee added to the
final price) or a Direct Bank Transfer to the GTrans Account in Australia.
