2. Early Career Jayson attended Glenwood High School in Chatham, Illinois.In his senior he lead his team with a .652 BA and hit 15 homeruns. He was drafted in the first round of the MLB draft.

3. MLB Jayson made his debut with the Baltimore Orioles on June 13,1997. He was traded to the Toronto Blue jays.

4. Injury On March 29th,2004 Werth was traded to the LA Dodgers(stink). During spring training he was hit by a fastball thrown by AJ Burnett in 2005.He broke his wrist.He had to miss the entire 2006.

5. Favorite Player Jayson is my favorite MLB player because he hit for power and I kind of hit like him,for power and contact. I try to hit like him every time up to bat, swing hard and never get fooled by a pitch.

6. Education Jayson’s was drafted by the Orioles in the first round of the draft.He was planning op going to college but abandoned that option.
