In the beginning, there were just three – two brilliant chemists
and a talented salesperson. Despite their very different gifts,
they shared the same passion for making a difference in the
world with safe, effective, green cleaning chemicals. Together
they agreed to use their expertise to develop, produce and sell,
non-toxic, biodegradable industrial chemicals that would be
safe for the environment, and safe for people. MEC was born in
1990 long before the terms “green” and “bio-preferred” were in
fashion.
