There are numerous Nature walks across the Jim Corbett national park. You need to look at the various
zones, exactly, three of them. Each of these zones is known for natural scenic beauty and much more.
We have Jhirna, Durgadevi, Bijrani and the Sitabani. These are being covered in three zones.

Each of them is popular for different reasons. You can think of two safaris: Morning- 6 A.M. to 10 A.M.
and evening 2P.M. to 6P.M. Around 30 jeeps is allowed during a day. You can book online during
morning session. However, the afternoon session is served on first cum first basis. You can make the
entrance through Amdanda entrance. Once you will travel 5 kilometers deep through this entrance, you
will reach Bijrani. You can go for Bijrani jeep Safari or even Elephant Safari. Both of them are possible out
here from Bijrani. Probably, the most popular entrance is at Amdanda entrance and Bijrani is most near to
the entrance.
If you will move from Amdanda entrance towards Ramganga then you will find Jhirna and Kalagarh.
Durgadevi is located at the extreme north zone at outskirts of the park. Probably more than thousands of
people visit Durgadevi every season from nearby locations. Garjia is located in mid of Amdanda and
Durgadevi. Dhikala is located near Ramganga reservoir and is one of the most awesome locations. Well,
these are some of the natural locations in Jim Corbett National park. Come here for a great birding

There are five entrance gates of which we have discussed one. We do have entrance gate at Dhangari,
Khara, Kalagarh, Vatanvasa and Durgadevi. Dhikala is the most well known destinations in Jim Corbett
and you can find variety of birds out here. It’s a perfect place for bird watching. You can find wild
elephant, chital and deer out here as well. Moving through the chaur out here is a perfect experience as
you are moving through one of the best moving trials in India. If you will enter inside dhangadi and move
to Dhikala then you can stop and rest at Dhikala. This is the place where you can rest and enjoy stay in
one of the most densely populated regions across.
There are a limited number of rest houses situated in each zone. Khinnanauli and kanda are the other
rest houses in dhikala region. Sarapduli and Gairal are the other zones. In birjani we have malani and
Bijrani. Similarly we have Jhirna in Jhirna region. We have lochachaur, Rathuadhab and halduparao in
Sonanadi region. These are some of the most awesome locations with rest houses.
You will find wild elephants, rhino, crocodiles, tigers and birds. Though different entrance leads to
different zone and each of them are known for some special species. There are more than 400 nature
