9. “BASIC” VISIT
“BASIC” VISIT
The Aljaferia, the Seo and the Pilar are the three main stars of our city’s heritage.
The first two are included in UNESCO’s list of World Heritage, and the third is
one of the great centres for worldwide pilgrimage. It also contains many works
of art including paintings by Goya. To discover them, we suggest several basic visit
combinations, which last for approximately three hours:
• Aljafería + Seo + Pilar
• Seo + Pilar + walking panoramic tour through the Historical Quarter
• Two of the three monuments + panoramic tour by bus
11. “STREAMLINED” THEMED VISITS
Do you want something that goes beyond the traditional guided tour? Well, to discover “another city”,
we do not just propose attractive and original themes, but also an active discovery where we will use
all types of materials, reproductions of objects, music...Visits for day and for night, to discover both the
monuments of the City and its most unusual, most unknown and most hidden parts.
Caesar Augustus: everything you always wanted to know about the Romans and never dared ask
A team of archaeologists has found a trunk that belonged to a person from Caesar Augustus some 2000
years ago. It is full of objects that he used in his daily life and these will help us discover what their lives
were like, what they ate, how they entertained themselves…
Jews, Moors and Christians: tolerance and intolerance around the Seo
Jews, Moors and Christians lived alongside each other for centuries in our city; hence the language we
speak, the food we eat… The Seo, and its neighbourhood, witnesses of that exchange, will show us the
best and the worst of the legacy from those centuries, from Mudejar art to the stories derived from
such different cultures living together.
13. “STREAMLINED” THEMED VISITS
The coronation of the Monarchs of Aragon: a festive day in mediaeval Zaragoza
For centuries, the monarchs of Aragon were crowned at a magnificent ceremony that filled the city with
illustrious guests from all over the Mediterranean. To reconstruct the atmosphere we will do a tour
through three buildings included in the UNESCO list of world heritage, from the Seo to the Palace of
the Aljaferia, passing through the San Pablo neighbourhood.
Çaragoça “the Full”
Construction work in the Seo, in the houses of the rich, in the city’s churches… work all over the place.
There is money in 16th century Zaragoza and construction work is carried out non stop. Travellers tell
that “it almost has a taste of Italy”, and the footprints of that time still live on in today’s city. We suggest
you discover the most well-known ones and some of the most surprising ones.
A walk along the banks of the Imperial Canal of Aragon
The Imperial Canal, built in the 18th century, is probably the prettiest walk that exists in Zaragoza.
Apart from its landscape values, we will encounter all types of constructions from that era: sluice gates,
mills, beacons, bridges… in absolutely surprising surroundings.
¡A vencer o morir!
Zaragoza. Tumbas ilustres, panteones espectaculares, esculturas sorprendentes… ¿Por qué no desafiar
a la superstición visitándolo?
15. “STREAMLINED” THEMED VISITS
Following Goya’s steps in Zaragoza
Goya spent his entire childhood and youth in Zaragoza. Today we are
going to visit the scenarios of his life and we will get to know some
of the works that he left the city, the neighbourhoods where he lived,
the churches where his parents got married, where his siblings were
baptised or he was confirmed… and the Pilar, on whose ceilings he left
some of his best works.
Conquer or die! A day at the Siege
Who has not heard about Agustina of Aragon? The city’s resistance to
the French invasion during the two terrible Sieges at the start of the War
of Independence became a myth in Europe. Today, we are going to see
some of the impressive footprints of those months, going to the heart of
that merciless war.
Dust to dust: the Torrero cemetery
The old part of the cemetery is one of the most beautiful, romantic
and surprising corners of Zaragoza. Illustrious tombstones, spectacular
pantheons, surprising sculptures… Why not challenge superstition and
visit it?
linas… ¿Os animáis a descubrir sus rincones
más sorprendentes, esculturas, árboles monu-
mentales…?
17. “STREAMLINED” THEMED VISITS
Pablo Gargallo: the prophet of sculpture
Zaragoza preserves the best existing collection of one of the greatest 20th century sculptors, Pablo
Gargallo. To get to know his adventure in search of new shapes, new materials, new outlooks… nothing
better than a visit to this marvellous museum, one of the most surprising of our city.
The Large Park, a miniature city
In the 20s of the last century the first large
park of Zaragoza was built. It is in a delight-
ful place, between the Huerva River and the
Imperial Canal, with terraces, hills, etc. Would
you like to discover its most surprising cor-
ners, sculptures, enormous trees…?
19. “STREAMLINED” THEMED VISITS
The Expo – a “city” for the 21st century
The 2008 International Exposition has left an extraordinary legacy in Zaragoza. Not only has it totally
transformed the city’s relationship with the river, but it has also left us some architectonic pieces that
continue to harvest awards all over the world, such as the Spain Pavilion, the bridge-pavilion, etc. To dis-
cover them, we suggest a pleasant walk where we will talk about architecture and many other things.
Discovering the Water Park
One of the best things left by the Expo is the Water Park, situated on the actual Ranillas meander, on a
bend in the Ebro River: a magnificent environment, innovative landscape gardening, attractive buildings,
all kinds of activities, a Syrian water wheel that “moans” when it raises the water… In short, a park that
is like nowhere else.
Unusual Zaragoza: midnight stories and mysteries
Not all cats are grey in the dark. Protected by the dark, people of all different colours come out of hid-
ing: witches, magicians, necromancers, murderers… the history of this city is full of dark and mysterious
people and we suggest a night-time outing to see where they go. Are you up to it?
Elige tu ruta:
• Gula
• Lujuria
• Avaricia
• Soberbia
• Envidia
• Ira
• Pereza

Routes of sin
In times of crisis, is there anything cheaper than sin-
ning? Throughout its more than 2000 years’ history, all
kinds of possible sins have been committed in this city,
sometimes with more humour than others, some with
imagination, and, from time to time, even with remorse.
We suggest you discover Zaragoza from another per-
spective, through seven routes along each one of the
deadly sins. Dare discover a much more sinful city that
you could imagine, and by the way, let he who is free of
sin come too!!!
Choose your route:
• Gluttony
• Lust
• Greed
• Pride
• Envy
• Anger
• Sloth
24. VISITAS TEATRALIZADAS
25. DRAMATISED VISITS
Do you want to travel in time with us? Each one of our dramatised
visits will take you to a “special” moment in the history of the city,
accompanied by a very peculiar guide who will take us to discover
unique corners. But, keep your eyes open, because when you least
expect it…. anyone can appear, from an Ebro nymph to a Morisco
pursued by the Inquisition.
In the different options we suggest we believe we have included the
answers to all the problems that might arise. Different possibilities
depending on the weather, the size of the group… in any case, we can
adapt almost everything we do to almost any situation, and we always
have an answer for you. Do not hesitate to ask.
26. VISITAS TEATRALIZADAS
27. DRAMATISED VISITS
One of Romans
Zaragoza, the 60s of the 20th century. An unknown B-film director wants to shoot his own film
of Romans, although he also wants to give a certain local colour to the script, setting the story
in Caesar Augustus. The reduced production team (the director, Martina Martini, the “Italian”
star and a jack of all trades) will visit the Historical Quarter accompanied by a guide to find the
best locations for each scene, from the Forum to the Theatre, and select the extras needed for
100 the filming from the public.
28. VISITAS TEATRALIZADAS
29. DRAMATISED VISITS
Under the Mudejar moon
Do you dare come with us and enter the labyrinth of the three cultures, visiting the Zaragoza
where the Jews, Moors and Christians lived? We will follow the footprint left by centuries of
exchange and co-existence, from the dazzle of the Mudejar towers to the fires of the Inquisition.
100 Mysteries, murders, miracles, persecutions, enigmas, legends… Did you know that you can still
hear the call to prayer from the great mosque of Zaragoza? And that a Jewish woman still lives
somewhere in the old Jewish quarter and that every Friday afternoon she prepares the Sabbath
dinner?
Before we visit the streets of the Renaissance city, we will enter the Seo, an extraordinary cathe-
dral included on the UNESCO list of World Heritage.
500 years ago when the sun went down, the city became a dark and dangerous labyrinth where
anything could occur. Even today, cities change at night and everything is different, more mysteri-
ous, with a touch of magic
30. VISITAS TEATRALIZADAS
a buscar.
locura.
31. DRAMATISED VISITS
Goya’s dreams
Today we are going to look for the origin of the
dreams, ghosts and obsessions that tormented
Goya, by travelling to the city where he lived more
than 200 years ago. He himself said that “The sleep
of reason produces monsters”: our imagination
flies when reason sleeps, and our dreams fill with
all those ghosts that we are going to go out and
look for. A “maja”, a witch, Goya himself, inhabit-
ants of Zaragoza and even the devil himself, will
tell us of his experience here, which marked him
100 for the rest of his life, in a visit through the narrow
limit between reason and madness.
32. VISITAS TEATRALIZADAS
100
33. DRAMATISED VISITS
The Siege: Conquer or die!
June 1808. The French appeared at the gates of Zaragoza, hoping that it would
take them one or two days to enter the city. That day, the first of the two sieges
that made the city famous all over the word began, and which made General Mont-
gomery exclaim that until Stalingrad there had not been anything in the history of
mankind that was comparable with what had occurred in Zaragoza.
We suggest a visit with a mixture of heroism and treason, glory and misery, death
and immortality. The extremes that touch each other, as they themselves wrote in
one of the redoubts that they desperately defended against the best army in the
world: Conquer or die!
100
34. VISITAS TEATRALIZADAS
35. DRAMATISED VISITS
Under the shade of a parasol
We are in the 20th century and something is happening in Zaragoza. The centenary of the
Sieges is celebrated with the Hispano-French Exposition, the cinema arrives, electricity, the first
cars, and the word “modern” leaps from the newspapers to the signs of the new shops that
open up everywhere. Because, what are not missing in the Zaragoza of 1980 are elegant shops
where you can find anything from the latest Parisian hats to the most tempting sweets. Do you
want to know more? Well, come with us on a trip in time where, accompanied by a charming
70 young lady and some of her friends, we will spend a morning “shopping” in the Zaragoza of 100
years ago.
36. VISITAS TEATRALIZADAS
500
37. DRAMATISED VISITS
2000 years of history
If your group is made up of more than 100 people and you want everyone to carry out the
activity at the same time, it is complicated to organise any of the above dramatised visits. For
these cases, we have designed another activity called “2000 years of history”, a visit on foot
through the Historical Quarter which not only includes different interiors (e.g. Roman Theatre
Museum, the Seo, the Pilar, Camon Aznar Museum, Pablo Gargallo Museum) but we will also
encounter characters from the history of the city with whom we will interact. Each one of the
groups (a maximum of 50 people) will make a similar but not exactly the same, visit, so that we
500 can easily move around the city.
38. VISITAS TEATRALIZADAS
150
39. DRAMATISED VISITS
And if it rains?
It does not rain very much in Zaragoza but it does sometimes, so we suggest two different options for
a rainy day:
A day at the Theatre
Do you want to travel in time to attend a performance in a Roman theatre? The Roman
Theatre Museum gives us the chance to do so, as there, we are going to find talking statues
as well as real actors from that era, who will make us participate in the show. A different
way of going to the theatre, in this case as leading players.
100
Dramatised tourist bus
Do you want a dramatised visit in winter? Well, the emotion Bus is our best option, a
slightly crazy bus because you never know who is going to get on next. We offer you two
different routes, a general one and another route centred on the Siege, where all types
of characters will get on and off for two hours, converting the visit (which includes two
stops) into a completely different experience to a visit on the traditional tourist bus.

42. GASTRONOMÍA
Mmmmm…
43. GASTRONOMY
Mmmm… Zaragoza is full of tasty, tasty possibilities, so let’s go and discover some. Here are some
options:
A route of sin: gluttony
If there is a sin that is not a sin and that almost everyone enjoys, that is gluttony, which has no age limit,
either. Today we will hear stories about people with a sweet tooth: banquets, royal weddings, fasting, a
dream cake shop, where we will have a snack and a fantastic market, the Lent cod, an underground wine
cellar, a restaurant from 1826… in short, a mouth-watering prospect.
A tasty, tasty walk
We are what we eat, so if we want to discover what the people from Zaragoza are like, the best way to
do so will be to start by seeing what they eat. So, we suggest a route where we will eat and talk about
food, visiting some of the most curious shops in the city. The Main Market, Montal, La Flor de Almibar…
the ideal walk to arouse all the senses.
Do you want a different lunch or dinner? Well, we have thought of a few possibilities for you.
44. GASTRONOMÍA
¿Queréis una comida o una cena diferente? Pues tenemos unas cuantas posibilidades pensadas para
vosotros.
Tapas-tour
suspiro y suspiro”.
45. GASTRONOMY
Do you want a different lunch or dinner? Well, we have thought of a few possibilities for you.
Tapas-tour
Zaragoza is deservedly known as a city of tapas, from the most traditional ones to the purely avant-
garde ones. But you must know some places that are difficult to discover on a first visit to the city,
genuine sanctuaries where we will taste superb tapas watered down by wines from each one of the four
Denominaciones de Origen of Zaragoza, as well as a typical Aragonese dessert. A very special guide
will take us from one place to another whilst he tells us stories about what we are eating, on a visit that
we will make “between sighs”.
46. GASTRONOMÍA
Cenas teatralizadas
¿Os apetece una comida o una cena diferente? Tenemos la solución. Imaginaos
no olvidaréis fácilmente.
47. GASTRONOMY
Dramatised dinners
Would you like a different type of lunch or dinner? We have the solution. For instance, imagine you
are having dinner in the pantheon of the Tenorio family, whilst Don Juan and Doña Ines try to solve
their problems. Or half way through the “Gigantes y Cabezudos”, a “zarzuela” or Spanish operetta that
everyone can sing along with. A special place, with a spectacular setting, actors or singers, a menu that
forms part of the story we are telling… In short, a whole experience that will not be easy to forget.
48. GASTRONOMÍA
“Gigantes y cabezudos”
49. GASTRONOMY
“Gigantes y cabezudos”
Today we are going to delve into the history of “Gigantes y cabezudos”, a Spanish operetta set in 1898.
Some of its characters will tell us their story, they will sing and will move us with their adventures.
“The Troubadour”
Let’s return to the Middle Ages to get to know the “real” story of the not so unfortunate troubadour
Manrique and his loving Leonora. With the background music of Verdi’s opera we will discover the
other side of a much more amusing story than the one we had been told.
“Dinners with Don Juan”
Don Juan Tenorio himself invites us to his family Pantheon. Whilst he and Doña Ines try to sort out
their problems, we will have dinner surrounded by tombstones in a Gothic cellar and we will try to help
a laughing Doña Ines save the soul of Don Juan.
sibilidades:
Y en Zaragoza un cañón
Viva Aragón, chispón
51. GASTRONOMY
Do you need to convert your dinners into something different? Here are just a few solutions:
Entertainment on demand
Actors, musicians, false waiters and waitresses, stories of intrigue… we can convert a simple dinner into
something entirely different, to make it an unforgettable experience for your guests.
Monologues
For before or after dinner, between one dish and another…. we suggest a new ingredient: monologues
where we will laugh at ourselves, at clichés about Zaragoza or Aragon. If you want to help do away with
the image that visitors have of us, with guaranteed laughter, here you have two possibilities:
And in Zaragoza a canon.
Long live Aragon.
54. GYMKANAS
55. GYMKHANAS
Do you want to discover Zaragoza in a recreational manner, competing against each other? Do you
consider the activity as an outdoor-training exercise, or a way of getting to know the people who work
in your company better? Do not hesitate, what you are looking for is a gymkhana. Our gymkhanas are
possible for just fifteen people as well as up to more than one thousand, divided into small groups. In
each one of them, you will have to pass all kinds of tests, figure out clues or interact with people that
can help you achieve your objective.
We have a gymkhana called “A hunt for a 2000 year-old treasure”, but we can design something com-
pletely different depending on your needs. You just have to ask.
56. GYMKANAS
57. GYMKHANAS
“A hunt for a 2000 year-old treasure”
A game where we will have to run through 2000 years of history in just two hours if we want to achieve
our objective: find the people who have the four pieces of the treasure map and convince them to give
them to us.
A long, long time ago, an Iberian hid a small treasure before abandoning the city when the Romans
conquered it. Before he left, he drew a map, but the pieces were lost and were passed on from hand to
hand. Today we will travel in time to find them again, and we will find inhabitants of the city from other
eras who will set tests that we will have to pass. If we are successful, we will receive a clue that will take
us to the next base. If we manage to reach the end where the “guardian of the treasure” awaits us, we
will have to pass one final test.

59. FAMILY ACTIVITIES
Designed for groups made up of parents and children, we have been developing proposals aimed at
families for years. It is not a visit aimed at adults or a workshop for the youngest members of the fam-
ily, but something that everyone can do together. Parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren,
aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces… everyone has a role to play and nobody is left as a spectator.
