Ayurveda means ancient science of life and Preachers mean promoters, thus we have kept the
name as it is most suitable & related to our aim and topic.

LEADER – Hardik K. Soni
Myself Hardik K. Soni, R&D Executive of Vasu Research Centre (A Division of Vasu
Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.), Vadodara, Gujarat, India. I think every person in this world wants to fulfill
desire of its soul. From my childhood days I am interested to know about our ancient science i.e.
Ayurveda. That is why I have chosen it as career objective it’s my sound of soul. I have
completed NATIONAL PROJECT: Indigenous scientific knowledge for a better tomorrow
held by N.C.S.C. (Dept. of science & technology, Govt. of India) in Dec.2001 and was awarded
by Dr. APJ Abdul kalam when I was in Higher secondary for the same.
Presently, I am persuing my Ph.D. and working as well. I have completed my M.Pharm
(Ayurved) - Pharmacology & B.Pharm (Ayurved) from well-known Gujarat Ayurved University,
Jamnagar securing Gold Medals throughout study period.
I have various other achievements stated below,

LEARNER 1 – Sana Bangliwala
One of my learners, Sana, has completed her bachelor’s degree in the subject of Biotechnology
from Mumbai University. Presently she is working as a project trainee at Vasu Research Centre
(A Division of Vasu healthcare Pvt. Ltd), under my guidance, for the partial fulfillment of her
Masters Degree in the subject of Herbal Sciences from Ramnarian Ruia college, Mumbai
University.
She is currently working on a project titled “Standardization and Evaluation of Polyherbal
formulation of an Anti dandruff oil and a Hair fall control oil”. She is here to learn and
understand the practices of the Pharmaceutical world and also to increase her knowledge about
this field and also about the ongoing research projects around the world in the fields of
Biotechnology and Herbal Sciences. She is a good learner and a good student. She is very sincere

4. about her work. She has good communication skills; this will be helpful to me during this test /
contest.
Sana is of valuable help to me in the Standardization of various herbal formulations at VRC,
Analysis of the formulation and also in the determination of its active constituents. She is of
good support in the ongoing research projects at Vasu Research Centre i.e. on prostate cancer ,
Psoriasis, etc.
LEARNER 2 – Krunal Ukani
My another learner, Krunal, pursuing his M.pharm in Pharmacognosy from Jaipur National
University, Rajasthan. He got 65.67% in 1st yr M.pharm & recently he is doing his dissertation
work from Vasu Research Center under my guidance . He completed his B.pharm with total
aggregated 66.0 % from RGUHS Banglore in year 2008. He has good experience of 6 months as
Medical Representative in Pinnacle CVN a division of LUPIN pharma ltd. & has also taken
experience of 2 months as post of pharmacist in Government Primary Health Center. As he is
performing under my guidance I found that he is talented scholar & he gives his best effort to get
best. Every time he shows positive attitude about any work and is very curious & enthusiastic to
do new things.
He is currently working in different projects of Vasu Research Centre like Isolation of active
constituents from herbal source, standardization of ayurvedic formulations, sophisticated
instrument handling etc.
Reason for participating in this test:
Research in herbal medicine, although, has been carried out largely in the world, information
about it is very scattered and not easily available. We think and hope that this platform will help
us to gather this information. This will help us to do advanced research in the same field and
hence be useful to the society. Also, we would like to share and increase our knowledge with our
research fellows. It’s good to be updated about the novel ongoing research in and around the
world. We also wish to make new friends and help each other for the betterment of people.
Expected challenges:
We, as a team, expect a tough competition from our fellow contestants. We hope our competitors
share their ideas on our topic. We welcome all suggestions queries and good criticism.
