In November 2010, AMCOW EXCO issued a decision for GWP to operationalise the Water, Climate and Development Programme This was after close to 1.5 yrs of intense mobilisation by GWP in Africa after which a bottom up framework programme was developed based on 3 Regional workshops in Africa. AMCOW provided leadership in the workshops that let to the WACDEP
