4. THE LIBRARY STORES:
- ALL MONOGRAPHS, BOOKS AND THESIS PAPERS ON THE
PAST OF THE VILLAGE OF KALOYANOVO;
- A COPY OF THE HISTORY OF THE VILLAGE OF DUVANLIY;
- A COPY OF THE BOOK BY PROF. BOGDAN FILOV, PUBLISHED IN
1934, ON THE FINDINGS OF THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL
EXCAVATIONS IN OUR REGION.

5. Two of the three
implemented projects are
related to the history of our
village:
-“Knowing the Past to
Succeed in the Future” (Tulip
Foundation, 2005 – 2006);
-“Deep Roots – Lively Spirit”
(WCIF, 2008).

6. The “Knowledge of the Homeland” series
are published at the initiative of the
chitalishte library.
To date, the first two books have been
published:
-“Education in the Village of Kaloyanovo
1845 – 2000”
-“The Mayors of Kaloyanovo 1891 –
2006”.
-In2008, we published the collection
“Deep Roots – Lively Spirit” of
documentary photographs related to the
topic of the implemented project of the
same name.

THE GLOB@L LIBRARIES – BULGARIA PROGRAM
ENABLED US TO:

11. - Soft copies of all library publications on
regional studies were provided for usage;
- We presented the activities of the regional
studies circle for the period 2000 – 2011;
- We organized multimedia presentations of the
“Wedding in Kaloyanovo” movie, the
participation of the reenactment in the “Living
Heritage” Festival in Sofia and Etar
Archaeological Ethnographic Complex;
- We presented the “Seven Wonders of Bulgaria”
before school children from Ivan Vazov Primary
School.

12. - Enhanced library significance and image among the
community
- Enhanced interest: the library is a frequently visited,
interesting and useful place for all, and mostly for children.
Here they gain new competences, learn a new type of
communication and have the opportunity to transfer their
knowledge to others.
- Enhanced library stock of documentary materials; increased
number of museum collection exhibits through new
donations from the local community.
