Budget: BGN 35,000,000
Eligible to access funding are employers (real and public sector)
Target group: unemployed young people aged up to 29 years who are high
school or university graduates and have no professional experience
Provision of funds for labor remuneration for a period of 6 months at the
amount of the minimum insurance income for the respective job position and
all contributions payable by employers
The remuneration of persons hired in the public sector amounts to BGN
400
Provision of funds for remuneration of mentors at the amount of ½ the
minimum salary and all contributions payable by employers (1 mentor is
responsible for 1 – 7 people)
No co-funding required
No employment or job sustainability required
Number of people involved in internships: 8,550

Target group: people employed under labor contract and self-employed
people with the exception of those employed by public administration agencies,
local government bodies, judiciary, public education institutions, the Ministry
of the Interior and the Ministry of Defense
Training may be provided by training providers who have signed agreement
with the EA as per Council of Ministers Resolution 251/21 Oct 2009
Provision of personal training vouchers
Vocational training except for training in vocational areas 22, 62, 814 and 86
from the List of Professions for VET
Training in key competences 2 and 4 of the European Qualification
Framework (EQF)
Number of people involved in vocational training: at least 74,000
Number of people involved in training in key competences: at least 63,000

Target group: newly employed/hired under labor contracts in settlements different from their
current address
Provision of actual amount funds for incurred daily transport/commuting costs to the job and
back (up to 100 km from the settlement of current address residence)
Employers are provided with lump-sum funds for induction/advanced training at the amount
of BGN 150 for each trained person – remuneration for the mentors appointed by employers (1
mentor is responsible for 1 – 4 persons)
Number of people who accessed transport/commuting preferences – at least 4,600

Parents of children aged 0 – 3 years submit applications for participation
in the project to the EODs
Target group: unemployed people
Each approved unemployed person is referred to a meeting with parents
approved for participation in the project
Parents are entitled to select independently the person who will look after
their children
Provision of funds for remuneration at the amount of BGN 300 for
looking after one child and BGN 370 for looking after twins and triplets, and
funds for all contributions payable by employers
Training/instructing in child care
Number of persons employed following training: 4,000

Eligible to access funding are employers (real and public sector)
Target group: unemployed people
Provision of funds for labor remuneration for a period of 6 – 12 months
based on the minimum insurance income for the respective job position and
all contributions payable by employers
For people employed in the public sector the remuneration amounts to
BGN 380
Provision of funds for remuneration of mentors at the amount of ½ the
minimum salary and all contributions payable by employers (1 mentor is
responsible for 1 – 10 persons)
No co-funding required
No employment or job sustainability required
Number of employed people: 9,000

employers through provision of vouchers to unemployed people

all contributions payable by employers
No co-funding required
No employment or job sustainability required
Number of people involved in training: 2,330
Number of people employed following training: 2,100

FRESH START FROM EDUCATION TO EMPLOYMENT European Union European Social Fund European Social Fund Human Resources Development Operational Program 2007-2013 3 Budget: BGN 35,000,000 Eligible to access funding are employers (real and public sector) Target group: unemployed young people aged up to 29 years who are high school or university graduates and have no professional experience Provision of funds for labor remuneration for a period of 6 months at the amount of the minimum insurance income for the respective job position and all contributions payable by employers The remuneration of persons hired in the public sector amounts to BGN 400 Provision of funds for remuneration of mentors at the amount of ½ the minimum salary and all contributions payable by employers (1 mentor is responsible for 1 – 7 people) No co-funding required No employment or job sustainability required Number of people involved in internships: 8,550

I CAN DO MORE European Union European Social Fund European Social Fund Human Resources Development Operational Program 2007-2013 4 Budget: BGN 100,000,000 Target group: people employed under labor contract and self-employed people with the exception of those employed by public administration agencies, local government bodies, judiciary, public education institutions, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Defense Training may be provided by training providers who have signed agreement with the EA as per Council of Ministers Resolution 251/21 Oct 2009 Provision of personal training vouchers Vocational training except for training in vocational areas 22, 62, 814 and 86 from the List of Professions for VET Training in key competences 2 and 4 of the European Qualification Framework (EQF) Number of people involved in vocational training: at least 74,000 Number of people involved in training in key competences: at least 63,000

CLOSER TO THE JOB European Union European Social Fund European Social Fund Human Resources Development Operational Program 2007-2013 5 Budget: BGN 18,000,000 Target group: newly employed/hired under labor contracts in settlements different from their current address Provision of actual amount funds for incurred daily transport/commuting costs to the job and back (up to 100 km from the settlement of current address residence) Employers are provided with lump-sum funds for induction/advanced training at the amount of BGN 150 for each trained person – remuneration for the mentors appointed by employers (1 mentor is responsible for 1 – 4 persons) Number of people who accessed transport/commuting preferences – at least 4,600

BACK TO WORK European Union European Social Fund European Social Fund Human Resources Development Operational Program 2007-2013 6 Budget: BGN 20,000,000 Parents of children aged 0 – 3 years submit applications for participation in the project to the EODs Target group: unemployed people Each approved unemployed person is referred to a meeting with parents approved for participation in the project Parents are entitled to select independently the person who will look after their children Provision of funds for remuneration at the amount of BGN 300 for looking after one child and BGN 370 for looking after twins and triplets, and funds for all contributions payable by employers Training/instructing in child care Number of persons employed following training: 4,000

SUPPORT FOR EMPLOYMENT European Union European Social Fund European Social Fund Human Resources Development Operational Program 2007-2013 7 Budget: BGN 80,000,000 Eligible to access funding are employers (real and public sector) Target group: unemployed people Provision of funds for labor remuneration for a period of 6 – 12 months based on the minimum insurance income for the respective job position and all contributions payable by employers For people employed in the public sector the remuneration amounts to BGN 380 Provision of funds for remuneration of mentors at the amount of ½ the minimum salary and all contributions payable by employers (1 mentor is responsible for 1 – 10 persons) No co-funding required No employment or job sustainability required Number of employed people: 9,000

FIRST JOB European Union European Social Fund European Social Fund Human Resources Development Operational Program 2007-2013 8 Budget: BGN 20,000,000 Eligible to access funding are employers from the real sector Target group: unemployed young people aged up to 29 Vocational training or training in key competences at the request of employers through provision of vouchers to unemployed people Provision of funds for labor remuneration for a period of 6 – 12 months based on the minimum insurance income for the respective job position and all contributions payable by employers No co-funding required No employment or job sustainability required Number of people involved in training: 2,330 Number of people employed following training: 2,100
