• Is the study of the Earth and the relationships between it and
people.
• The word geography is composed of two words:
• geo, which means earth,
• Graph, which means description or drawing.
• It can be said that through geography we learn where and
how places are.
• It helps explain the reason for their names and how people
and animals live in different ways.
