MAM’s MISSION
MAM uses organized sports to positively impact the lives of urban, at-risk young people and to
foster unity between diverse segments of the community. The tournament was created
in 1991 to build community awareness among various areas of
Memphis, both urban and suburban.
MAM exists to provide a hope and a future for at-risk youth in urban Memphis. Our goal is to develop
these young individuals into a generation of spiritually strong, productive adults who

ROSTER INTEGRITY
This must be the roster from your league. No player can be added to your league roster unless
specific approval is granted by MAM.
Coach’s Agreement
I agree to set the example for my team as well as my team’s fans by maintaining proper sideline decorum (i.e. no yelling at referees, no yelling
negative comments to players, demonstrating good sportsmanship). I understand that MAM reserves the right to forfeit my team from the
tournament because of fans, players or coaches that may, in MAM’s sole determination, exhibit behavior that may be detrimental to the purposes
of the tournament. I also understand that any player or coach ejected from a game may not coach or play in the next game. I understand that
MAM will express a Christian message to all interested participants at tournament activities & games. I certify that the above information is
accurate and that the above roster represents our current league roster with no added players or MAM has specifically approved in writing any
added player.

3 Game Gurantee for Each Division - Trophy Placements
All places are determined in every division if possible. This format ensures that every team playes
at least 3 games. Team trophies are awarded for 1 , 2 , and 3 place in each division

Broad Range of Division Choices
MAM wanted to create an opportunity for virtually all teams with the exception of high school JV and varsity.
Church league teams, recreational teams, competitive teams, middle school teams, and high school 9th
grade/freshman teams can compete in their own division. This current arrangement was met with
overwhelming approval last year because more appropriate team match ups were fostered.
T-Shirts
Every participant (player and coach) will be given a souvenir t-shirt. The t-shirts can be picked up at the
Grizzlies Athletic Center (2107 Ball Road) between Noon to 8:00 p.m. on December 27th and any day
afterwards the during the Tournament’s game times.
Tournament Results and Brackets
Tournament brackets will be available on Friday, December 21st on MAM’s website (www.mamsports.org). In
addition, each day’s results during the tournament will be posted on the website prior to the following
morning so everyone can know where and when they play.
Game Contests
Kids and adults can win prizes during game time contests.
Admission
Adults: $4.00/day - Children 12u: $2.00/day - Children 6u: free
Daily tickets good for all games that day at all facilities.
