Poison dart frogs are small, colorful amphibians that live in the rainforests of Central and South America. They come in many vibrant colors like yellow, red, orange, green, blue, black and gold. Poison dart frogs obtain their toxins from insects and small animals in their diet and have enough poison to kill thousands of mice. They breed during rainy season, with males making buzzing sounds to attract females and then guarding eggs until hatching.
