 The Sudanese genocide started as an ethnic
    cleansing .
 The Sudanese Genocide was not only in Sudan
    it involved all of Africa.
 There was a mass killing of 350000-400000 in
Africa under the cover of the war in Iraq in
    2003
 It was the first genocidal rampage of the 21st
    century.
 The genocide was in between the region of
Ethiopia, Chad, and Southern African Republic.
 The genocide included the capital of Southern
Sudan(Juba), BAHR Al, and Al Istiwaf
 The country of Sudan split in two areas Northern and
    Southern Sudan
 Sudan’s president Omar al-Bashir is being
blamed for the beginning of the genocide.
 Arab Janjaweed (devils on horseback) militias
    attacked Darfur’s black African civilian
    population
 The Fur, Masalit, and Zaghawa are the three
ethnic groups of people who were killed.
 Omar al-Bashir was committed of five crimes.
 The killing’s began in spring 2003 and continue today.
 The burning of villages, polluting the water
supply, and murdering, raping, and torturing of
innocent civilians was a common thing that the
    Janjaweed did to the people
 In May 2006, the Sudanese government signed a peace
agreement. However, the Sudanese continued to fight
    the two other groups
 The group that they stopped fighting was the (SLM-
Minni Minawi). The two other groups that the
Janjaweed continued to fight with were SLM-Abdel
    Wahid and JEM).
 They continued to fight these groups because the SML-
Abdel Wahid and Jem refused to sign the agreement.
 More than 200,000 people have died since 2003 in
    the country's western Darfur region
 Omar is still in power. He has been in power for 20
years and is 65 years old.
 After Omar launched in 2003 he has killed over
200,000 and has left 2.5million homeless.
 People have begun to realize what is going on and
has started to protest all around the globe.
 Omar is denying help to the civilians of Darfur.
Some of the costs of the
                         Sudanese Genocide.

A picture of the Janjaweed and
what they do to innocent people.

A child crying after a shooting
 People have rioted because of the innocent killings.
 The people are starving and being burned out of
    their houses.
 1.5million people have left at the beginning and
    now 300,000 have returned.
 The people are returning to the land
homeless, foodless, and basic services or
    livelihoods.
