This presentation about e-co-innovation for making e-services was made at the IEEE DEST conference on the 25th of July 2013 in Palo Alto, Silicon Valley: http://www.dest2013.digital-ecology.org The video of the presentation is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCn15ELCm8w It presents the concept of Living Lab and the instance that we developped in Reunion Island in the domain of education with ICT. The example of instrumental e-learning in music teaching and learning is given to explain our methodology and use of a creativity platform. In this presentation and associated paper, we stress the importance on dealing with know-how rather than knowledge with another method called Sign management for annotating scores with videos. Lastly, we introduce the Semiotic Web as a new paradigm for making education e-services.

Les expérimentations des villes productives (Fab City) et des villes apprenantes (Learning Cities) sont en pleines effervescences à travers la planète. L’objectif est de prototyper un nouveau modèle urbain permettant à la ville de tout produire ce qu'elle consomme en utilisant des stratégies d'économie circulaire, de planification urbaine, d’écologie industrielle et d'innovation citoyenne. Des enjeux de développement et de numérisation des compétences, de parcours d’apprentissage peuvent être adressés par les badges numériques (Openbadges). Ils permettent de capter, numériser, valider et communiquer l’ensemble des compétences et des expériences d’un apprenant, d’un travailleur ou d’un citoyen. Workshop presentation at the 14th international Fab Lab Conference in France, jul 12 - 22 2018 - http://www.fab14.org The use of digital certificates (micro credential) and badges (digital badge) is an emerging practice for assessing and enhancing the skills acquired in formal and informal context of Fab Labs and Makerspaces. Digitize skills and learning pathways with digital badges in Fab Labs movement. The main objective of this workshop is to co-design a skill and social learning framework for Fab Labs ecosystems around the world. To accomplish that, we will challenge participants to discuss and reflect around the 21st century and open innovation skills references, experimentation of new educational design (STEM to STEAM), technology assessment of digital badges management systems, and the use of “Open badges” standard developed by Mozilla and IMS Global.
