Choose the one best suited to your preferences! 1Enter a keyword or job #, limit by country or function & click “Search to quickly access jobs. 2 Click on “Career Guide” (See Slide 21) 3 Use the “Advanced Search” to limit criteria further (See Slide 24) Note: You may currently also search by business area or map
- 4. 4 GE Careers – Applying to a Job 7/9/2014 Example: Enter the word “engineering” to see only jobs available at GE that include the phrase “engineering” You can narrow your search at any time by using the buttons to filter the results. Standard application process (through Slide 18) 1 Upon clicking SEARCH with no other option selected you will see ALL GE jobs currently available. Enter keywords or job # here to narrow your search.
- 5. 5 GE Careers – Applying to a Job 7/9/2014 Once you’ve found an opportunity that interests you, click on the job title to view full job description details. For example, limit further by “Country”: In the US, limit further by “State”:
- 6. 6 GE Careers – Applying to a Job 7/9/2014 You also have the options to: • “Save to cart” if you’re not ready to apply OR • “Post to social networks” to share this job opportunity with others Here you’ll be able to view full job description details. After reviewing the description, click “Apply Now”
- 7. 7 GE Careers – Applying to a Job 7/9/2014 If you choose to “Save to cart” you’ll be asked to login or create login details to allow you to easily access jobs you’ve saved at a later time. If you choose to “Post to Social Networks”, log in to your Talent Community profile to share this job opportunity If you have not yet created a Talent Community Profile, create a login here.
- 8. 8 GE Careers – Applying to a Job 7/9/2014 If you need to create a login you’ll be asked to confirm Privacy Policy details. Once you’ve agreed, you’ll be asked to finish creating your Login. Note: You can navigate to prior steps by clicking the timeline at any point
