Software Implementation & Deployment (Overland Park, KS)
Full time Permanent Position as a member of my Clients Professional Delivery team the position will focus
on implementing and deploying complex enterprise software solutions for some of the world’s largest
Corporation & Government in the world. The candidate selected would live in the Kansas City area. It's a
full time permanent position with Benefit. I look forward to exploring this opportunity and our association
further. I am normally in the office from 7:30 to 6:30 Mon thru Thursday and until 5:00 on Friday CST.
The compensation is in the 70 to 100K range.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, and test enterprise software applications to meet customer
requirements
* Craft and complete deliverables including design documents (e.g. technical architecture) and training
materials, as well as hands-on activities associated with installing and configuring software
* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through creative problem solving, expectations
management, and effective relationship development
* Use problem solving skills to identify problems and recommend process and technical improvements
* Identify and understand how customers will interface with software applications in order to define the
user experience
* Gain a thorough understanding of the customer's customer service objective, culture, organizational
structure, skills, experience, and processes in order define and implement change management within the
customer's environment
* Work with billable client projects, as well as assist with pre-sales needs.
Required Skills:
* 3 years experience working in technical role preferably within a solutions delivery environment.
* Experience in solutions design and development in Java, not code development but the ability to
manipulate and configure to work with various other softwares & datebases.
Preferred Skills:
HTML, Javascript, VBscript, XML, XSL, XSLTC/C++ experience. (Not hands on coding but
software manipulation)
Have an understanding of frameworks: Struts, Hibernate, velocity, Log4J, AJAX.
Fluent with Windows 2000 server, Linix, Unix
Database knowledge with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MySQL, PostGreSQL
Web Servers experience preferably with (Apache or Netscape), Content Switch/Load balancer,
Tomcat 4.x and higher App
This role will include travel from time to time to customer engagements.
