2. Who Are Penumbra?
✤ Penumbra Partnering consists of 18 member companies and currently 5 addi8onal member
candidates. They comprise some of the largest and most well known IBM Business Partners
in the ICS community and represent over 15 individual IBM Champions amongst them.
Almost every Penumbra company has spoken at a user group or IBM event.
✤ Working across technologies and services they have individually and collec8vely built a
reputa8on for presen8ng, communica8ng, exper8se and independent opinion.

3. To provide a town hall type forum for discussion and a way
to translate what can often appear to be confusing insider
speak about product technologies and strategies.
Our goal is to ensure customers of all kinds understand the
value of their software and are able to consider their strategy
going forward.

4. How DoWe PlanTo DoThis?
✤ offer independent opinion around how announcements
and product developments are going to impact us and
our customers
✤ include contributions from relevant IBM’ers where
possible
✤ provide a clear translation of product announcements or
strategic messages
✤ encourage feedback to be shared with IBM

5. Penumbra @ Connect
✤ We plan to complement the IBM Connect 2017 event with daily 'town hall'
briefings broadcast from San Francisco offering discussions of
announcements, news and sessions that day. These will be both in person and
broadcast online.
✤ Contributors would be drawn from Penumbra membership which includes
well known community members and speakers such as Sandra Buehler,
Andreas Ponte, Andrew Pollack, Carl Tyler, Francie Tanner, Julian Robichaux,
Neil Agate, Matt White, Theo Heselmans, Jamie Magee, Jon Schultz, Justin
Hill, Daniel Nashed, Rob Novak, Mike Smith, Gabriella Davis, Nigel
Cheshire, Lance Spellman, Gregory Engels, Wannes Rams, Tony Holder, Mark
Myers and Adam Brown
