work on anything that relates to our products, and
deliver it within 24 hours – hence the name,
FedEx Day.
Why?
Foster creativity – When there’s no rules, anything’s possible.
Scratch itches – Every employee has something that bugs them about our products, and FedEx is
the time to tackle it.
Get radical, dude – FedEx gives a spotlight and traction to radical ideas that might not normally
be prioritized.
Have fun! – Traditions like FedEx Day help make Atlassian a more fun place to work.
What?
Some of the projects from FedEx Day are turned into features that go into production
like FishEye's side-by-side diffs. Others were built for fun and learning like Atlassian Invaders.

When?
A friday (6h) every three weeks. We maintain the
previous ratio of R&D work (4h per sprint).
Why?
Same purpose as the Atlassian FedEx days.
What?
Basically any idea approved at: http://ragbag/labs.
New features - Modifications to one of our portals
New projects - Related to our services but too radical to be in the backlog
New tools - To be used internally that will make our lives easier
Resolve bugs - That you can’t live with
Anything you can deliver in one day!
