1. Tuesday’s ASSURE-
Audience: This is a High School senior class of 22 students. There are 12 boys and 10 girls. Of
those students, 13 are white, 7 are black, and 2 are Hispanic.
State the Objective: After discussing the mood disorders through a PowerPoint presentation
and showing a tutorial of how to create a Tumblr, the students will have an understanding of
the individual disorders. Next each student will create a Tumblr account and demonstrate a
mock page that would show what a person who had their chosen disorder (i.e. Bipolar I) would
perhaps have on their Tumblr page. You need to decorate your page and blog or re-blog certain
images or quotes that fit your person. The students will add me (gabecapri.tumblr.com) so I can
go on and see their page. The students will work on this during class and finish at home if extra
time is needed. They will complete this with 100% accuracy.

Require Learner Participation: Students will follow along with the PowerPoint’s. Then by using
their own critical thinking, they will think of a mood disorder they’d like to use and create a
Tumblr demonstrating someone who has that disorder’s thoughts, what they’d blog and reblog, etc. After adding me on Tumblr so that I can see the work done, the assignment will be
complete.
Evaluate and Revise: Once everyone has added my Tumblr page, I can go on and see what work
everyone has done and make sure that each student has grasped whichever mood disorder
they decided to use. As the long as the Tumblr is made, correlates with their chosen disorder,
and I can see it that is how I will evaluate what has been learned.
