There are a lot of “review” sites on the web:

...
Most of these review sites are very active
Incredibly many people are writing product reviews
Why people do review?
After reading / watching
several thousands of reviews,
I got a thought
Basically, many people
do it as a hobby, for fun
In the early 2000s, lots of people started blogging
It was the beginning of Personal Publishing era
People perceived Personal Publishing
as so attractive thing
However, most blogs became
inactive within three months,
because only fewer people
could get readers
Blog which didn’t have readers couldn’t
keep them going
Web2.0 might be a knight
on white horse for them
because web2.0 brought them readers
within one’s circle of
friends and acquaintances

Facebook, etc.
easy short message
communication

Twitter, etc.
Personal Publishing

question & answer

Quora, etc.
within one’s circle of
friends and acquaintances

Facebook, etc.
easy short message
communication

Twitter, etc.
Personal Publishing

share user experience
