Harvard psychiatrist Steven Scholzman wrote a (fictional)
medical paper on the zombies presented in Night of the
Living Dead and refers to the condition as Ataxic
Neurodegenerative Satiety Deficiency Syndrome caused by
an infectious agent.

3. The Three Stages of the Apocalypse
Stage 1 – Fortify
Stage 2 – Gather
Stage 3 - Survive

4. Stage one - Fortify
• First 24-48 hours are crucial – Don’t Panic
• Don’t go out and “shop”
• Prepare and inventory what you have
• Be prepared to “bunker” for at least a couple of weeks

After a period of time, begin to gather resources
•Obtain a weapon of some sort – preferably a melee weapon
•Find a source of water and collect non perishable food
•Cover yourself
•Travel only in the light and never by yourself

• 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of

to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against

rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in
high places.

• 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be

• 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit,

supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all
perseverance and supplication for all saints;

16. Stage three - Survive
• Find a new place to live.
– Preferably around a water source
– Preferably in the country away from buildings
• Best options: Prison, Yacht, country mansion on the lake,
Aircraft carrier, hospital.
• Bad options – mall, wal-mart, your house, tall building.

17. Stage three - survive
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your
moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful
for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the
peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts
and minds through Christ Jesus.

18. Stage three - survive
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are
lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there
be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned,
and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be
with you.
