YOUR ROLE

 The main key in matters concerning WPV is
  Prevention.
 Be aware of what is happening on your site.
 Pay attention to rumors and spontaneous utterances and
  report as soon as possible.
 Observe look in parking lots and roadways for listed
  individuals.

  may drive.

INTERVENTION
 Our goal is not only to protect others, we must first
  protect ourselves

 Physical intervention is our last resort. We are not ,
martial art experts or police officers. In every instance
where physical violence is likely the proper authorities
  will be contacted.

STALKING YOUR ROLE
 Stalking- willful course of conduct involving the
repeated or continuous harassment of another
individual that would cause a reasonable person to
feel or experience being terrorized, frightened,
  intimidated, threatened, harassed or molested.
 If you are aware of any of these things going on at
  your JOB
                   ~ REMEMBER ~

STALKING YOUR ROLE
Our role regarding stalking is two-fold:

• Try to be visible to both the individual being
stalked and the individual doing the stalking.
• Carry yourself in a professional manner, people
will feel comfortable and will be more likely to ask
  for assistance.
• If you are informed of a stalking situation you are
  required to inform your supervisor.

MANAGING THREATS

supervisor as soon as possible and be ready to act.
Often there are several warning signs that alert you
 to the potential WPV.

2. Veiled – “This place couldn’t  Who made the threat?
operate if…was out of operation  When was the threat made?
“  Where was the threat made?
3. Conditional – “If I’m arrested,  Were there any witnesses?
I’ll be back looking for you”  Were there any previous
                                                            threats made?
Threats are not always blunt and  Is there an immediate danger
clear cut. To assess the extent to to the threatened individual?
  which employees and client assets
are in danger from the individual
