Setting up your business by the way you ultimately want to live
- Know your WHY
The first step to setting up your business the way you ultimately desire to live is by
knowing your WHY. And, honestly really understanding the pain and the cost of that
pain if you don't what it is you ultimately desire to.
As simple as this may seem, it's very powerful and an intricate piece of the puzzle to
success. I need for you to really dig deep and write down your answers. You will come
back to this exercise later on this week, so hold on to this. Through out this series I ask
for you to be action oriented no matter how uncomfortable some of it may seem, I
promise you when you bring all together it will help you truly enjoy being Simply
Wealthy within your business (and life too!)
So let's get started:
First off: It's great to understand and know what your challenges are in business and in
life , but unless you fully understand and are aware of the costs of staying where you are
at, you are not likely going to do anything to get from where you are now to where you
want to be. Unless you are completely FOCUSED and CLEAR on your VISION on
what success looks like to you, you will find too many exits on your path to fulfillment.
My goal is to help you find the straightest, most direct route to get to where you want to
be.
I know it sounds crazy, but people get used to discomfort and feeling pain. Not living life
to it's fullest, is living in pain. Not doing what you are meant to do in life, is living in
pain.
The 3 most important questions I want you to ask yourself is:
• WHAT is the COST of staying where you are?
• WHAT is your VISION for yourself?
• WHY is this VISION so important to you?
Unless you are taking action towards your vision, you are more than likely disconnected
from why it is important to you in the first place. It's too easy to get busy, or to throw
yourself into meaningless activities and therefore you forget and you get comfortable, so
there becomes no motivation to make any change.

2. If you really go deep and write down your true feelings on what the cost is of staying
where you are, and the reason behind you vision ...your WHY ...you will stay on track no
matter how many challenges are thrown at you. The answers to these 3 questions are
what will keep you there and ultimately be the core to your business success.
Write down the 3 questions and your answers to the above on a 3x5 card and keep it
with you or tape it somewhere you will always see it, perhaps by your computer or
on your night stand.
Review it daily.
Not enough people ask themselves what they would want instead, they just stay stuck in
their problem and come up with all kinds of excuses why life is the way it is. They easily
accept that this is it.
I may not know your exact story, but remember I have a pretty lofty story of my own.
And, staying in a poverty struck mentality and struggling with life on a daily basis was
not an option for me. Life may throw you challenges but it is meant for living and a big
part of doing that was having a business that meant something to me and gave me the
opportunity to live the life my family and I desired. You can achieve this as well!
This may be a simple exercise, but it's powerful and important. Next we will discuss
