This document outlines roles for students to take on during literature circle discussions, including Discussion Director, Connector, Sentence Master, Illustrator, Vocabulary Master, and Summarizer. The Discussion Director guides the group discussion by
asking your group members five interesting or relevant
questions about the text and encouraging them to get
involved in the discussion in English. 引導組員討論並想五

組員以英文回答問題。

聯想大師
The Connector describes how the text connects to his or
her own life (text to self), to other texts (text to text), or
to the world (text to world). 描述該文章如何與其生活或是
其他文章或是這世界有何相關處。

句子大師
The Sentence Master chooses and interprets 2 key
sentences from the text to read aloud and ask others to
read aloud, too. 選出及解析兩個重要的句子大聲念出並要求
其他人跟著念。

The Illustrator creates an interesting picture to illustrate
something important or interesting from the text. 將本

The Vocabulary Master identifies and interprets 5 key
words and phrases in the text. 找出並解析文章中五個重要
的單字或片語的念法及用法(詞性、中文、例句)。
The Summarizer provides a clear, well-organized
summary of the text, with a focus on key details,
characters, events, or timelines. 提供清楚又有組織的摘
要,需包括文章中重要細節、人物、事件或時間表。
