The Paleo diet has been around for quite some time now. It’s been around for

During the Paleolithic age, man ate a lot of fruits, vegetables and small game.

modern man.
The Paleolithic diet, also known as the
“caveman diet”, is designed to follow the
way our ancestors ate over 10,000 years
ago. Unfortunately, many of the food available back then have undergone
exponential change.
Carrots are one example. The orange kind we all see today is miles away from
the purple that it started with when Neanderthals still roamed the earth. And

when we talk “small game,” we actually mean rodents. And no man will
willingly eat that today.
However, it must be noted that while the foods changed, man’s genetic
makeup barely did.
So we’re essentially consuming modern food for our rather ancient body. And
there lies the crux of the problem. And that’s exactly what the paleo diet
hopes to remedy.
Personally, I went primal because I was hoping to lose some weight. It also
didn’t help that my family has a history of heart ailments and diabetes.

So I figure, the earlier I start eating healthy, the better for me later on. I also
know a few people who have gone on this diet and they’ve been singing its
praises.
The only challenge I had was I never know what quite to eat. If I wanted some
coffee, I had to ask myself if ancient man even had coffee way back. And
chocolates. Surely, I can get a cheat day, right? I just never knew what to do

much just to change my dietary lifestyle.
